“Trouble And Their Double Lives” se lanzó el 28 de abril de 2023 a través de Napalm Records, como un recopilatorio de clásicos favoritos de los fanáticos en vivo y dos nuevos tracks de estudio: “She is a Fire” y “Demon Prince Regent” con buena recepción de la crítica y los fans.
El álbum fue grabado entre 2014 y 2019 en diferentes presentaciones en Estados Unidos, Europa y Australia durante el “Cryptoriana World Tour” y fechas posteriores. La banda inglesa cataloga el álbum como “una cápsula del tiempo de energía en vivo increíblemente intensa y un testimonio asombroso de la renombrada última era de Cradle of Filth”.
La placa fue producida, mezclada y masterizada por Scott Atkins en Grindstone Studios en Suffolk, Inglaterra y la grabación capturada por Danny B, no sólo presenta una gran cantidad de favoritos de los seguidores que abarcan la electrizante discografía de la banda, como “Nymphetamine (Fix)”, “Bathory Aria” y “Blackest Magick in Practice”, sino que también dos bonus tracks como son “You Will Know The Lion by His Claws” y “The Death of Love”, además de dos canciones completamente nuevas que volaron el cráneo de los fanáticos que esperaban estos lanzamientos como sangre fresca.
La banda inglesa se ha transformado con el tiempo en todo un referente del metal extremo, abarcando desde el metal gótico hasta el black metal sinfónico, que junto a sus letras y arte de sus discos, han cautivado a un público fiel, como también a las nuevas generaciones.
